The last day of our New Year Trip began very early in the morning. We all made our way to the porch and watched nature's spectacular sky show . . . the meteor shower was amazing!!! It was really cold out there.
At one point we thought it was over. I crawled back in bed trying to get warm, Max made coffee and went back outside. He called me to tell me the meteors were still visible. So I bundled up this time and went back out with coffee in hand to enjoy the last part of the show.
After breakfast and showers, the usual preparing the cabin for our departure began. Clearing the frig and packing the ice chest, washing dishes, packing a lunch, cleaning the floors, clearing the water lines, etc.
Then we were on the road home. As you can see from the pictures below, Max’s vehicle isn’t as roomy for Duke and Ginger. But we all made it home just fine.
